200+ Projects Built – 400+ Bathrooms Designed
You have an eye for detail that your current bathroom does not satisfy. The problem is a design without passion. Our award winning bathroom Architect will design and build the staple room you have always envisioned.
You're bathroom looks like a clinic. Thats the problem.
Typical problems:
You walk into your bathroom and the same flaws catch your eye each and every time.
You feel that the present design belongs in the past. Your bathroom does not reflect you, but instead the person who built it.
You think that planning a beautiful bathroom is too overwhelming and that you lack the ability to pick a great design.
You are inspired by other beautiful bathrooms that reveal the flaws of your one.
You dont know where to start and when to stop when trying to design your perfect space.
You consider your bathroom as a chore to maintain & clean rather than a place to retreat.
These aren’t six separate problems. This is what a bathroom feels like when it is created by copy and paste builders that prioritise speed over design. You can fix this by finding a builder with passion + an attention to detail.
The four principles of a bathroom
A great bathroom has four main elements.
We work through all four with you, then tell you which one to change first.
01
view on entry
Opening the door to a boring wall or a non-hidden toilet is a major design flaw.
02
feature wall
Where all colours, vibes, and focus meet in one single area.
03
colour & temperature
Nature never misbehaves, borrow your colour pallete from earth. Warmth welcomes. Cool calms.
04
shape & lighting
Curved lines require ambient and soft lighting. Sharp lines require silhoutte and focused lighting.

Fewer than 6% of Australian homes are custom designed by architects.
Most Australian homes have a bathroom that has been copy and pasted from a generic plan. We provide the rare opportunity to design a custom space that will leave a lasting mark. You will deal with a team that focuses ONLY on bathroom & kitchens, we are not a standard builder. Only a few projects get selected per year, on purpose, so we can maximise focus and attention.
“but I dont know if I will regret it”
Most homeowners who choose us almost didn't.
A design that looks bad in 10 years, overwhelming amount of options to pick, having to manage trades in your home. These are all real problems, and its the same problems that we specialise in fixing. If you don’t commit to the idea then it will stay as just a wish. You can’t edit a blank page, it’s time to start the design.
The team
Our team has over 30 years combined construction experience designing and planning luxury rooms.
We were founded on the premise that there was a lack of focus on the smaller jobs, bathroom renvovations to be specific. This Gap forced the homeowner to contract a generic builder for a custom design. Boy, were we right.
Builders in construction are typically only interested in larger projects, they prefer doing the entire home, and when it comes to giving attention to an individual room, like a bathroom, they always do the same thing – throw it into the plan as an after thought. Wasting time creating a design from scratch is not quick or profitable, so they copy and paste what already works, with a few changes to match the rest of the house.
We beleive that by rejecting work, we create an acceptable product. And thats what we do. We say no to all other projects very often, to focus on what were good at, building high end custom spaces.
We have now completed over 400 bathroom & kitchen spaces all around Sydney, and doing this many repetitions means we have learnt EXACTLY what works and what dosent.
The mission is to transform the homeowners renovation experience, by creating a unique product that screams different to the rest of the world.

We couldn’t be happier with our bathroom renovation by BAYSgroup. From the initial planning through to the finishing touches, the whole process was incredibly smooth and well organised.
A special mention to Anthony and Greg, who were fantastic throughout the renovation. They were professional, reliable, easy to communicate with, and took real pride in their work. Their attention to detail and care in getting everything just right really stood out.

★★★★★
Anthony and his team at BAYS are very professional and were responsive to our needs. The end result was just like the 3D modeling, so we knew what we were getting. They delivered on time, at the agreed quote – although we did add a few extra nice touches along the way at our own cost. This was a main bathroom reno, and we’re very happy to recommend BAYS.

Anthony worked through each step off the process, explaining what had to be done and offering useful advice to maximise the functionality, building plan and look of our new bathrooms. He was always available, patient and returned answers to our enquiries by phone or email in a timely way. The firm was true to their contract prices and we feel we got value for our money. Anthony’s after build care was also very good. Our bathrooms are amazing and we highly recommend Bays group as a bathroom renovation company.

★★★★★
We were initially attracted by the beautiful design packages offered by Bays Group for our laundry/shower and bathroom renovation projects. But what really made the whole project a five stars experience was working with Anthony. He’s super reliable, polite, responsive, honest and resourceful. He’s been excellent from initial design to the last finishing touches. He patiently reworked the plans when we changed our minds about big things like layout to small things like style of the towel rail. When mistakes/ issues arose, he arranged for things to be redone / properly fixed to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Anthony & the Bay Group.

Questions homeowners ask before they apply
All Sydney Homeowners, and people who want a high-end bathroom renovation and not a cheap makeover. We only use high quality products & materials, and have experienced craftsmen, these things cost appropriately .
You are why we exist! Good design is not about past experience, but of experiencing in the present. That is why we place all options infront of you, and take you through each element of your space, one by one. Our award winning designer will help you with this exact problem!
Would you rather 4 weeks of construction in your home or keep delaying the bathroom of your dreams. If you don’t book us in, someone else will. Our craftsmen aren’t strangers, but honest people with care and resposnsibility.
Once you accept a design, we book you in a start date, and are typically completed in less then four weeks. If it’s a larger project (many rooms) upto six weeks.
Your project director, Anthony, is a fully licenced builder, we have all insurances required by Australian law covering every trade, full builder warranty & waterproofing 10 year warranty certificate is given before we ask for the final payment.
We are not builders, but bathroom & kitchen ONLY builders & designers. We dont put our focus in other peoples larger projects. Your project gets the attention of a 30 year experienced bathroom & kitchen specialist, you are not a “small side job” that we take on as pocket change.
Is your bathroom too small, worn out, very old, leaking, cluttered? These are all the same reason our existing clients renovate. Its not about your current bathroom size and shape, but of creating a design tailered to suit your space.
A high end bathroom or kitchen renovation ranges from $30k – $60k depending on the finishes, tiles, and tapware you select.
We supply all items in your project, from small tiles, large format tiles, custom baths, different colour tapware, and more. Our products have 15 years warranty and are made from high quality products sourced from Europe/Italy. You can also supply your own items if your prefer.
