Contemporary Style Bathroom Renovation

Sydney, Killara

09/05/24

A contemporary bathroom renovation focuses on sleek, modern design elements that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal.

This style often features clean lines, minimalistic fixtures, and a contrasting colour palette, which can include shades of grey, white, and black. High-quality materials such as marble tiles and quartz countertops are commonly used. Freestanding bathtubs and frameless glass shower enclosures add to the open and airy feel, while matte black fixtures provide a stylish contrast.

Contemporary bathroom renovations also emphasize energy efficiency and sustainability, incorporating LED lighting and water-saving fixtures. This design approach increases the overall value of the home.

Behind the scenes

Take a look at how our BAYS phases renovation process brought this project to life, from start to finish…

STEP 1: Planning Inspirations

We start by gathering inspiration pictures of design styles our client likes. Our process will help channel their creativity and we guide them along the way.

STEP 2: Shopping List

During a one hour designer session video call, we create a mood board, and then a shopping list from all our reputable products, or our clients picks. These items best encapsulate our clients vision, ready for them to approve through our online portal.

STEP 3: 3D Graphic Render

Using this shopping list, our graphic Architects begin creating a photo realistic 3D digital render of our clients proposed space, so that they can envision all materials coming together. Be confident through visualisation!

STEP 4: Trade Setout Plan

After the 3D render is approved, our client's personal project manager will then begin developing detailed tradie set-out plans, to ensure a smooth and accurate build process, that can be built on schedule, and according to the approved design.

STEP 5: Building Stage

Our team are assigned their start date by our project manager, and begin demolition, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing and tiling works, under supervision, and according to the detailed trade plans. Our team are fully licenced and master-craftsmen in their trade, with all work completed to Australian Standards and Warranted.
